Health and Disinfecting from M&V Pro Services
Staying healthy is everyone’s responsibility. Make sure you wash your hands after touching common surfaces and wipe down any used spaces and common counters with disinfecting wipes. A key tip for maintenance supervisors or office managers is to know the difference between cleaning and disinfecting:
Cleaning means removing dirt, germs, and impurities from surfaces. Cleaning does not kill germs, but by removing them it lowers their numbers and the risk of spreading infection.
Disinfecting means using chemicals to kill germs on surfaces. This process does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs, but by killing germs on a surface after cleaning, it can lower the risk of spreading infection.
The difference between these two services can make all the difference when it comes to the products you buy, the services you need, and the time and dedication required to complete them. It also matters for health, as disinfecting surfaces is the most effective way to kill germs, viruses, and bacteria. We recommend inquiring about both cleaning and disinfecting to lower the risk of infection and maintain a good-looking space that keeps morale high and spirits calm.
